New Beginning

Our Church has been in an eight day prayer and fast for the New Year; Eight representing a new beginning. Each day we prayed for a different issue. My night’s subject was praying for the Unsaved (Incarcerated, Detention Centers, In Homes, Addicts of all kinds, etc.) world-wide. This was my prayer,
“Lord, we come to you in the most humble way we know how.
We stand as intercessors tonight – we have read your word and strive to lead by example.
Paul and Silas were jailed because they were preaching. They prayed for release and you sent an earthquake to open the jail doors.  (Acts16:25)
Joseph’s brothers cast him into a pit all because of jealousy.  You sent someone to come and rescue him and he was a blessing to his family and country later. (Genesis 37:24)
There was a man possessed by demons and living naked n grave yard. You cast the demon into the swines.  (Mark 5)
We think to be locked up means you are between four walls.
We think the unsaved is the only one that commits sins.
Lord, we are standing in prayer for those things that is binding up the mind.
Suppression
Depression
Oppression
ADHD
Autism
bipolar
Alzheimer
Dementia
Anything that come against the mind.
Whether in the white house, church house or our house;
We’re binding it up and casting it in the pit hell.
Satan is walking to and fro trying to destroy anything, anyway he can.”
Satan is using the saved to come against each other to divide your house, Lord.
We bind that up and cast it in the pit hell!!
God, we bind that up this night.
We come against back biting and back starving in the church.
We ask you to release your anointing to go into the enemies’ camp and destroy all of the enemies’ tricks. So your people can put their mind on you, Lord.
Lord, one day we were lost, born into iniquity and we heard your cry and
We came running.
Lord bless us, strengthen us oh lord!!!!!

Amen and Amen

Hopes or Blessings

There are so many myths about a New Year. The thing is; is to find the real you!!! If you have no enter peace then all the things of the world will not matter. The scriptures say, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul.” In the beginning of every year we all have high hopes: losing weight , getting marry , buying a house or a car sportcar, going to school and a good job . All these things are good goals but it does not strengthen your spiritual life. Mathew 6:33 tells us to seek the kingdom of God first and all else will be added. I am not a bible scholar but I do know the word of God does not lie.  God will direct your path if you follow him.

Single Mothers

I thank God for this Day Dec 24, 2011. I thank God for allowing me to serve him. If it had not been for Jesus in raising my children, I don't know what I would have done. My children and grandchildren enjoyed the day: we cooked out and shared the gift of Jesus Christ's birth. They say it could not be done but I managed  to raise all three of my children alone. I never gave up on Jesus and I never will. My recommendation with the times as it is not just for mother but all man kind to find your place in the Lord and never get out.  Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus' Birth

Walking out into a cool crisp evening, temperature about 59 degrees, stars glistening and all about the neighborhood the lights are shimmering signifying the birth of Jesus.  Can you imagine the anxiety of the shepherds?  One bright star was in the sky; a star leading to our savior, our messiah, the one who would live and die for our sin. I can imagine the shepherd’s steps were not quick or long enough to reach their destiny. It had to be an honor to see Jesus Christ lying in a manger!

Death the Door Stopper

Today we buried one of my best friends mother; last year this time we buried one of my friends' sister who died from cancer. We say it playfully all the time this time of the year. “You or I might not make it to the New Year.”  No one knows there cut off time; it’s not a good feeling but Earth is not our home. We are sad but the bible tells us death is a time for rejoicing and a birth is time for weeping. It takes many life lessons to understand this saying. Giving our life to Jesus is the only way!!!!!!!
