There are so many myths about a New Year. The thing is; is to find the real you!!! If you have no enter peace then all the things of the world will not matter. The scriptures say, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul.” In the beginning of every year we all have high hopes: losing weight 
, getting marry 
, buying a house or a car 
, going to school and a good job
. All these things are good goals but it does not strengthen your spiritual life. Mathew 6:33 tells us to seek the kingdom of God first and all else will be added. I am not a bible scholar but I do know the word of God does not lie. God will direct your path if you follow him.
