Is it Well With Your Soul!!!!!

I don't think this question is asked often in this day and time. Everyone is to busy gratifying the carnal side; A new home, A new car and our kids are in all types of sports but are we building the soul. Are we teaching the things it takes to survive in this world? The things that will determine if you are going to heaven or hell. I was listening to T. D. Jakes CD (Faith). We as a people have gone from one extremity to the other. From the days when we thought you had to be poor to serve God to instant gratification; I gotta have it now age. Are we failing our children because we are not teaching the basic that will help them through all situations when you can not go anywhere else? When there is nowhere else to turn............

Such is Life

Look hard at this picture. "Such is Life" This picture portrays life. Your life is predestined but there are so many directions you can choose. Each shape and angle represents something different each and every day. There are two types of shade areas: the trees provide shade and it has a shadow. The shadow depending on the time of day can be long or short or not appear at all. The awning can also provide shade but shade is only there certain times of the day. You can see drains which removes all the waste. Benches are needed because sometimes you might need to sit and rest; maybe even to pray. Lighting is provided for the dark times when you just can't see. The flowers, well, they add beauty and a little color. I am sure there is so much more you can see for all our lives takes a different route.

Increments Blessings

It has become customary for many people today to pray for blessing from God such as: asking God to make them debt free, asking God for prosperity, Asking for good jobs or/and for a new home/car. Not thinking that God bless us anyway in out goodness and badness. God brought to my attention and I began to pay attention to the many small blessing God was given me everyday. The blessings were numerous; the confirmation came in Sunday school one morning. The statement was while we are praying for mega blessings God is giving us blessings in increments and if we take the small increments and apply to the appropriate areas then we will eventually find our self debt free. But of cost, we find this to be the opportune time to buy a new dress, shoe and etc. I thanked God for the confirmation and began to use it wisely.

Operating on Faith!

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Functioning in a society where there are no visions and no prayers. People want the blessings but not the Blesser. I am trying to stay in my place and not miss my blessings. When you turn on the TV, there is nothing but bad news. Economy is at it lowest ever and crimes is up in all areas. People are unemployed in the double digits. There is no other hope now but to hold onto your Master (The Lord) with all your might. If you don’t know your Lord Jesus Christ then open your heart and receive him before it’s too late!
